Outdoor Planter Workshop + High Tea

We invite you to join our 2nd Annual Workshop and High Tea Event in Moosomin on Saturday the 15th of April, 2023

It’s been a long winter and if you’re anything like me you are itching for spring to arrive. We’ve moved this year's event to April to bring a touch of spring to you earlier! Here is your chance to dress up for an exciting spring garden themed event!

Tickets are available for the Floral Workshop + High Tea OR the just for the High Tea..

Tickets will be sold in groups of 2, 4, 6, or 8 to ensure you sit with your group during the event. If your group has an odd number ask us about an add on ticket!

ABOUT THE EVENT 

OUTDOOR PLANTER + HIGH TEA

You will be among a limited group that will come to the greenhouse for some early garden therapy. To begin you will choose your pot from a selection before we give a quick talk about planter design and colour theory With our assistance you will then browse the greenhouse to pick out the best plants for your location. You will then get your hands in the dirt and plant your planter. We know you may not want to take your planter home with you until after the frost date, so we have the option to hold your planter and water it in the greenhouse for you until spring when you can take home your well established planter to enjoy!

Don’t worry about the mess, we will have aprons and some plastic gloves for you so if you are dressed up or have a manicure done for the high tea, you won’t ruin it.

We will then relocate to the High Tea at the Armoury hall where you will find your group’s table on a display as you enter. If you arrive earlier there is a chance to mingle and take photos with your group in front of a decorated photo area before sitting down to enjoy high tea with dainties by Valley Springs Cakery

This year’s High Tea has a Garden Theme to bring spring to you a little earlier. You can expect a gorgeous table display decorated by our floral team with plants and candles decorating the tables in the bright and spacious armoury hall.
